A Morning Full of Surprises
“Believe it or not, you’re not the only one who suddenly has new and different memories. I’m positive about that. And it’s also not just us that had different yesterdays than what people believe were their true yesterdays,” Jean answered. “As for why I wasn’t affected and you weren’t…I’m still trying to figure that out.”
Within seconds of her ending her reply she felt a quick surge of pain rush to her head. Wincing at it, she raised her hand to rub her forehead again and took a few deep breaths to try to calm herself. Her headache was much more intense now and her eyes felt as if they were burning. Closing them for a moment as she waited for the feelings of agony to subside, she opened them again and then allowed her hand to lightly stroked Logan’s.
“I can tell you more if you like,” she said trying to sound strong but, much to her disappointment, having a hint of discomfort in her voice.
Logan noticed Jean’s wince of pain. As much as he wanted to here more he could ask about that later. He needed to make sure that Jean was alright first.
“Are you ok love? A headache is it? You always did get those a lot. Would you like me to get you something for it?”
